In 1993, Jiro Maruyama founded the company with his wife, Yuriko, focusing on the technology of CCD and wireless transmission. In the dental market, RF's intraoral camera has seized the 85% of the market share. In the medical market, it has seized the No.1 share with the digital x-ray sensor since its debut in 2006.
