It comes in 3 configurations (NorthAmerica, Japan and rest of the world) and covers all operated 3GPP bands around the world. The OCTBTS 8500 offersquick and seamless cellular deployments using its state-of-the-art built-in SON functionality. This feature detects availablespectrum and adapts to changing environments.The OCTBTS 8500 delivers max throughout of 30/15 Mb/s (for Downlink/Uplink) to ground, aerial and portableapplications enabling voice, video and data for tactical communications, video surveillance, border security, public safetyapplications and more.Weighing less than 1Kg with a sealed metal casing, OCTBTS 8500 is an ideal solution man-portable and mobile operations.It can easily be mounted on light weight fast deployment masts for larger coverage areas. The base station can becontrolled over wired Ethernet, and also, over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for wireless remote management using a tablet orhandheld.
