Cap Screw Strap 2. Positions the collar around the fitting so the male nut fits within the parallel tabs of the collar and the female nut fits inside the wing tabs. 3. Insert the tab of the strap into the slot on the collar. 4. Swing the strap to meet the collar. The female nut should now be completely contained.
